Hefeweizen

Hefeweizen: a summer favourite, originally brewed in Germany. It's a wheat-based beer (50% or more required!) that uses a top-fermenting ale yeast. This beer is unfiltered, resulting in its distinctive cloudiness as well as its texture as fine yeast is left in your soon-to-be empty glass. This crisp ale often has sweet, floral aromas, such as banana, all-spice and clove.

IPA—Pocalypse

As the end of the world as we know it appears to be nearing fast, what else is one to do other than making beer? Blessed by this vision of sheer lucidity, Brouwerij Geel set out to explore the boundaries of Indian Pale Ales. This Post-Apocalyptic IPA uses shredded beets to achieve a haunting shade of red. Don't tell us we didn't warn you!

Château Jaune

The Eindhoven-grown grapes for this natural wine were farmed organically, and were processed without additives nor man-made yeasts. The end result: a living wine with a complex nose and body, chock-full of naturally occuring microbiology.

Ginger Beer

Sweet. Sour. Spicy. Gembier is a Ginger Ale's more interesting, alcoholic brother. It's a very affordable and accessible brew, and makes for a great introduction to homebrewing. This naturally flavoured- and carbonated brew only calls for five ingredients: Ginger, Sugar, Lemon, Water, and a wee bit of patience.

Toffee Apple Cider

We all have to start somewhere. Well, Brouwerij Geel's brewing journey started with a Toffee Apple-flavoured Cider. 2017 had been a year where we enjoyed a lot of Brothers' ciders, especially their Toffee Apple kind — so sweet, yet so good. With this first ever brew we tried to replicate it.
